Character hotel near Montlue

Hôtel vieillissant  

Repas et petit dèj au top, chambre vieillissante  

Info said check-in until 9PM but the whole place was completely closed when we arrived at 8:30PM. No phone answer (we heard it ring out through the reception door!). No info. This is a small village in the middle of nowhere and everything was closed. We explored the building around and across the road eventually found a back entrance open and found an envelop with our keys. Shocking. The room was clean enough but only 2 cups and 1 spoon for 4pp. On the other hand, the kitchen/reception lady the next morning (Florence) was an absolute saviour; charming and really helpful. She had been off for a few days and was shocked at our ordeal the night before. Great breakfast spread and Florence was really great. 

Les points forts : Toujours un bon accueil dans cet hôtel. Au calme. Grand parking sous les arbres. Très pratique car peu d'établissements aux alentours. Belle salle de restaurant que nous n'avons pas testé. Les points qui seraient à améliorer : rafraichir et moderniser les chambres et les isoler phoniquement des autres.  

Après lecture d’avis avant notre arrivée nous nous apercevons que les gens sont méchants et pas du tout objectif L’hôtel est propre et calme Rien à re dire

Fantastic restaurant - amazing quality of food. Bedroom a bit old and would need renovation. Good value for money nonetheless - will come back, just for the restaurant ! 

Chambre propre et confortable. Les parties communes mériteraient un rénovation. 

Chambres tes ancienne et propreté pas au rendez vous, isolation quasiment nulle.
